Volunteer Podcast Narrators
Robert Decker holds a B.A. in Mass Communications from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Though he has worked in in areas such as technical writing, documentation editing, and desktop publishing, he has over 20 years of experience in radio as a disc jockey, music director, journalist, and reader for the Radio Home Visitor–one of the country’s oldest daily broadcasts for the blind, visually impaired, and homebound.
Robert has conducted several hundred interviews with artists great and small in the AOR/hard rock/heavy metal genre of music. Since going digital in late 2006 and getting acquainted with Adobe Audition, these interviews have established a presence on the web, both on the artists’ respective websites as well as YouTube.
After ten years as a technical writer for a medical device manufacturer, Robert has felt the need to retool some skill sets and redirect his career path. He continues to expand his voice-over portfolio and is glad to volunteer wherever needed. He can be contacted at robertADvoiceover@gmail.com.
