The good thing about publishing our articles with a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 License is that you or others are free to post these yourself to Scribd, Google Books, and so on.

Excellent! This is indeed incredibly neat.

Have you considered also uploading the papers to Scribd and/or Google Books? When citing only a specific passage from a given article, I like to be able to link directly to that passage; and moreover, I think the PDF and DOC formats scare some would-be cite-checkers away.
